Dr. Emily Dold specializes in primary care optometry. She uses her expertise to help diagnose and monitor eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She is skilled in the diagnosis and management of ocular manifestations of systemic health conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Emily Dold was born in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Upon, graduation, Dr. Emily moved to Fullerton, CA where she enrolled in Southern California College of Optometry and recieved her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005. She completed several professional internships focusing on primary care, contact lens management, and ocular disease. Dr. Emily practiced in Rochester, MN for the first 6 years of her career and has now been part of the St. Cloud optometric community ever since.
She and her husband, Thomas, are both optometrists. They met on the first day of class while attending Optometry school. After their schooling, both decided to move back to Minnesota to be closer to their families and raise their own. They have four wonderful little girls, which keep them busy!
